„Demographic change” is a concept that is familiar to everyone and its consequences are becoming more and more visible lately.

For that reason, ACADEMIA SUPERIOR assigned the task to write a study on „Fundamentals and approaches to a generation policy in Upper Austria” to Prof. Dr. Helmut Kramer, member of our Advisory Board, Austrian economist and Chairman of the Austrian Platform on Ageing.

The most important 10 theses of the study were presented to an audience of stakeholders, commented by fellow Board member Univ.-Prof. Dr. Friedrich Schneider and complemented by best-practice examples of how demographic change and generation management are already dealt with in Upper Austrian communities and elsewhere.

The talks were followed by questions from the audience and a discussion with the speakers and ACADEMIA SUPERIOR-President Dr. Michael Strugl and host at Backaldrin Forum Peter Augendopler.
