The sci­en­tif­ic foun­da­tion of the think tank is a high-lev­el advi­so­ry board, which includes two dozen mem­bers from sci­ence and research from Aus­tria and abroad and many dis­ci­plins. The Board of Trustees of ACADEMIA SUPERIOR is com­posed of well-known entre­pre­neurs from Upper Austria.

Deputy Gov­er­nor Mag. Chris­tine Haber­lan­der is pres­i­dent of the Think Tank ACADEMIA SUPERIOR, which was found­ed in 2010. She stud­ied eco­nom­ics in Linz and has been a mem­ber of the Upper Aus­tri­an Gov­ern­ment since 2017 and is respon­si­ble for edu­ca­tion, women and health.

With ACADEMIA SUPERIOR, we have cre­at­ed a very spe­cial think tank. Sur­prise Fac­tors are a key ele­ment in this think tank. Our claim is to work sci­en­tif­i­cal­ly on prob­lem solu­tions and to derive tan­gi­ble results. We are liv­ing in an unscript­ed time, where pre­dic­tions are becom­ing more and more dif­fi­cult. With our Sur­prise Fac­tors con­cept, we draw the lessons from the recent past and the present! That’s the excit­ing thing about ACADEMIA SUPERIOR. I am very proud that this for­ward-look­ing idea was born here in Upper Austria.
