A dementia friendly Upper Austria

Demo­graph­ic change and the aging of the pop­u­la­tion result in increas­ing num­bers of demen­tia-cas­es. This is a grow­ing chal­lenge not only for those affect­ed, but also for rel­a­tives, the care sec­tor, the health sys­tem and soci­ety as a whole.

In order to face this devel­op­ment with fore­sight, ACADEMIA SUPERIOR looked for poten­tials and inter­na­tion­al exam­ples for a sus­tain­able demen­tia care sys­tem. The knowl­edge, ideas and opin­ions of numer­ous experts from the social and health sec­tor were col­lect­ed and con­densed into a dossier.
